Steven Mortazavi, M.D. is the Medical Director of Valley Pain Specialists. After completing his residency in Anesthesiology at Hershey Medical Center, Dr. Mortazavi completed a Pain Management and Palliative Care Fellowship. He received his medical degree from State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse and is Board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology. |

Teena Varghese, M.D. Dr. Varghese has joined Valley Pain Specialists as our Pain Management Fellow. She completed her undergraduate studies at Union College graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then earned a Masters of Science in Health Managment at Union College. Dr. Varghese then went on to complete her medical degree at Albany Medical College and her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency at Nassau University Medical Center. Dr. Varghese has authored several peer reviewed journal articles and served as Chief Resident in PM&R at Nassau University Medical Center.

Marissa Marion PA-C received her Bachelor degree in Biology from Ramapo College of New Jersey graduating magna cum Laude. She subsequently completed her Physician Assistant Masters Degree in a joint program with University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
